I have read many of the classics, but I gotta' tell ya', this book/diary, to me, has them all beat--hands down!

This little girl speaks more eloquently than the best of the best of any famous author I've ever read, and I would not even attempt to aspire to be a writer of her caliber, it is unattainable.  Young Anne learned more about life in a few short years than most of us learn in a lifetime. She reaches out and pulls on your heartstrings, gets into your soul, and makes you realize you are blessed with the life you are living, whatever it may be.

For an author, so tender in years, her insights into life, love, sex, womanhood, war, politics, men, parents, friends, sons and daughters, children, hate and prejudice, is remarkable if not unprecedented. I am not a young woman, nor am I that old, but this child taught me so many lessons in life just by reading her words. Do yourself a favor, read it! Buy, beg, borrow or steal it if you must, but read it! All she ever wanted out of life was to be a writer and to share her thoughts will the world. Keep this dream of Anne's alive...

I did read this book many years ago, and she was a remarkably talented young girl, even if it was her diary.

Have you seen the movie, Sophie's Choice?  If not...SEE IT!!  I have it, its a tearjerker!!  Meryl Streep was fabulous in it!

Nope, have not seen Sophie's Choice, but I'll rent it or look for it on TV. Thanks...
